Bibi Berry is a Cuban born and raised in Miami, Florida. Despite being her childhood role of “city girl amidst the bustling life of Downtown”, she loves to spend time in nature. Strolling through butterfly gardens in pink, flowy dresses and basking under the sun’s warmth on the beach are her favorites. Now, living in a small town in Ohio, she spends her mornings sipping cold matcha and writing away on a picnic bench under a Crabapple tree in a nearby park. In her free time, she’s playing TTRPGs with friends or wrapped in a warm blanket with a video game (The Legend of Zelda. It always is). She was an avid reader throughout childhood, absorbing herself in any fantasy book she could find, but as time passed, her focus shifted to the realities of the world.

She was a heavy daydreamer: a story of opposites, one of soulmates with a purpose. A world born of magic, just like the books she used to read. Despite this, the world she truly lived in was dark. The trees in spring blossomed vibrant, lush green, and the people around her smiled, but she did not. It wasn’t until the Lord saved her life that she realized exactly what she wanted to do: tell a story. An analogy to the world we live in.

“The Divine’s Archmage” series encompasses the wonders and love that is the “magic” of the real world while not shying away from the dark aspects of life. The light always shines brightest in the darkness.
